If you want to include all aspects of the game into a broadly-defined "athletic equation", and say that Dallas were the better team, but lost anyway, then that's true. But like you say, the Dallas players were not as athletic as Golden State. Jason Richardson has more athleticim in his left hamstring than the entire Maverick roster.Tariq al Haydarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09885586213698005388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7363077490625848984.post-26096876938214349012008-04-19T23:34:00.000-04:002008-04-19T23:34:00.000-04:00Tariq, I would agree that the Warriors as a team o...Tariq, I would agree that the Warriors as a team on average run faster and jump higher than the Mavs, raw athleticism. But the fine art of shooting and brute strength, something I think the Mavs had in spades over the team of small forwards Nelson trots out every night, are also a part of the athleticism equation. That being said, execution under pressure by even a very unathletic team in both dimensions, say Karl Malones Utah Jazz of the late 90's, could kill a team like the warriors.Sabonis15https://www.blogger.com/profile/05680461737969111627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7363077490625848984.post-58815917194358023242008-04-19T21:21:00.000-04:002008-04-19T21:21:00.000-04:00James is the man.James is the man.Eboyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15328696199422961571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7363077490625848984.post-87809256352168025522008-04-19T10:31:00.000-04:002008-04-19T10:31:00.000-04:00Nice work, James. I'm a fan of players more than teams, so this was painful believe me. I should write a post about Krayzie Bone so I can justify my use of his moniker.Sabonis15https://www.blogger.com/profile/05680461737969111627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7363077490625848984.post-3803276401535348342008-04-18T16:50:00.000-04:002008-04-18T16:50:00.000-04:00He's better than us,you know. He's better than us,you know.ARhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02494635972366860614noreply@blogger.com
